been awhile because I have been busy, ( trying to learn guitar and bass playing). anyway I have decided to go back to something I tried some years ago and try again since I was learning to play anyway and that is building electric guitars from scratch.

well I don't have any pics yet cause none of my pieces ( not even the body blank) has arrived yet but I will post pics as soon as I can LOL.

well with that said I am still limited by what I can do because of tools so I have to order the necks premade ( which sucks when you want a specific headstock look or want a specific wood type, or it be a neck through type cause you cant get everything you want from every vendor ( cant find any that will do a 24 fret neck In a wood that I want to use).

anyway, i was asked if i was going to make and sell and i said i doubt it because there would be no way i could comete with the slew of cheap Chinese diy guitar kits floating around on fleabay which is a shame considering it would take a LOT of time and effort to build, then factor in electric part cost, and the most expensive and time consuming ( minimum of 1 month for a rush job which i refuse to do) is the finish. i wouldn't go cheap and only use nitrocellulose laquer. i would also have to charge extra for adding veneer for the decorative tops again added cost. anyway, i'll update as i can Mr Green

ok here are some pics of my project, note that those pickups will NOT be used on this project, I have opted for some BC rich BDSM pups instead. a lot of people despise the bc rich BDSM pups claiming them to be muddy but I haven't seen this at all, I HAVE noticed however that with my vintage Peavey VTM120 tube head and matching 412MS cab I can get a slash sound or a soundgarden sound via the gain regardless of what guitar it is or what pups it has in it and detect no "muddiness" at all.
