MAW event for Emmett Williams 5-7-2011

this is the event i attended saturday for Emmett, he wished, as one of his wishes to meet Darth Vader, so being as i am in the 501st and my main costume is Vader i was NOT goin to let this sweet kid down. tulsa fanforce friends and fellow 501st member Zack , all pitched in money for a VADER Bear, and i made him a belt hanger lightsaber with some flashy leds on it i installed. the intial conversation i had with Emmett, my voice sounded just fine, and was perfect, but after that, i raised my voice because of the background noise and music goin on, just so i knew they could hear me ok, that caused my voice to sound a lil off, but at that point, it didnt matter to Emmett, here was his wish come true, meeting and interacting with Vader.

At first i didnt know i was even his wish, till MAW was talkin on stage and i found out, so at that point, i knew i had to make this sweet lil kids moment one he'd remember forever.

Video shot by a student for me, please excuse the coughing and sniffling, she had a cold, and is a lil shakey at times too, also sorry bout the cuts i thot i had them good, but noticed somehow after i got them on here that a few were out of sequence in a clip like it jumped one section to another and spliced it together, sorry for that, lol

these 2 shots, a group shot of him and us and a single with him and me were taken, and i brought my printer and laptop along, printed off these two shots, and the group one we ALL signed it in character, and the single one on one shot i signed to emmett from Lord Vader





hes holding the lightsaber i made for him and that smile, that smile, it says it all !!!

also he was presented with a form that my friend printed off for admittance to the Sith training academy, with his name on it, and authorized by Me, VADER, signed off by the attending commander, ZACK, and trainer, my friend Lord Waya Nightwolf.

lol funny bud. been real busy, workin on the boat which really all is left it strip what i have too back off and paint it, then reinstall and install gas tank. got servos installed and hooked up already, plus the event i did saturday had to work on polishin up armors, and gettin stuff ready to go, and then i went to ren faire in muskogee sund with wife and daughter, soo been pretty hecktick lately.

yeah i hear you, got myself a carb from a member on lsf but still cannot get my baja to stay running, gonna try replacing my teflon gaskets and if necessary i will get another rebuild kit and rebuild it (might not hert because there was some sand in the carb here and there). however, i know there is fuel getting to engine so now i jst need to check for spark and air leaks
