| and some upgrades: front alloy hubs front shock tower braces and front xbrace alloy, and you can see part of team chase front mud guard installed too rear shock towers and braces alloy and if you look you see my turtle racing quik split alloy tranny too. max flo air kit, angled neck uni shorty filter with redneck , and a Vstack on carb, since i had to grind out bore hole for butterfly to work, Seller sent me a brand new free of charge large bore deep well Vstyack, dont have that pic yet tho, and you can see the metal 3 point connection carrier for bell/clutch. pretty much same as plastic but alloy now, with larger bearing than stock in there for longer lasting bearings and bell/clutch life. 3 degree hostile hubs, with dark soul meaty bones and hostile boots, had issue other day with a boot on that side, the tab that you attach with a bolt to hold on rear of gear cover caught the boot ripped off the nipple end, upon lookin it over i removed that tab that bolts on backplate, used a bevel bolt with concave washer and used them where plastic gear pins hold on cover, snugged down it aint goin anyplace, and solves the clearance issues on axle and boots. nutter shot of front alloy hubs thinking bout getting a 4pks radio and 5755 steering servo and a 7955 throttle/brake servo upgrade soon. |

| i see you opted for a different air filter setup than i did on my baja 5b, i personally went with the shreadstack and a tgn roughneck air filter and i like it. it angles teh air filter up to provide clearance for easy removal and also provides air a straight shot into the carb, best of all you continue to use teh stock air filter foams |

| yah it angles the whole thing upwards slightly also, shorter filter makes it easier to deal with, and whole thing is held on to Vstack with a hose clamp, soooo easy to loosen/ tighten to get off or on. _________________ You Dont Know the POWER, of The Dark Side...... |

| yeah. i just have teh clip to remove and my whloe filter comes off. i opted for teh larger filter setup because of more filter surface area and better air flow |

| The stock air filter setup shure is a PITA. I went with the Blurr setup so it would be easier to change filters on location. I got an extra adapter ring so I can keep a filter ready to go in my toolbox. Now I can swap filters in 15 to 30 seconds. It's awsome. |

| was gonna go with that too, but seen the price and figured i could do better, and i think i did with this setup, only cost 27 bucks and that included a spare filter/angled neck for fast swaps. _________________ You Dont Know the POWER, of The Dark Side...... |

| yeah, in all honesty i would have liked the blur setup but there were a couple of issues with it:
1 couldnt find it in stock anywhere at teh time 2 cost 3 as far as i could gather it wasnt angled up like the shreadstack was.
i wanted the angled setup to get the air filter off of the tank a bit which would clear up the issue of debris gettign trapped in between the gas tank and air filter, and would make it easier to access teh fuel lines if needed withough the need to remove the air filter, also i could run the tgn braided fuel line for looks and not worry about it fitting under air filter. |

| yup, my issue with blur was cost, thats about it, i coulda got one from Tulare easy nuff, buit went with his max flo kit. the stack itself isnt angled, the filter neck is, and same as yours, gets it up off the tank a lil and is super easy to change. so we both got what we were after, and that cool. _________________ You Dont Know the POWER, of The Dark Side...... |
