well i thought i would make this tip up after a recent issue i ran into, so here is a brief description of what my issue was and what i did as well as a really good piece of information.

ok recently i installed a hi flow fuel kit on my baja as well as an ada intake manifold. well i had some issues with teh teflon gaskets leaking which i corrected by simply removing and reinstalling the carb (yes i reused teh teflon gaskets). then the car would die trying to give it throttle and eventually failed to start. well i figured that my fuel lines were reversed but decided to get some confirmation from an online source and it stated where the lines from teh tank connected to (turns out the locations on this website were wrong)
so if you have to remove both fuel lines and dont remember where to connect them here is the proper location:

pickup line (this is the line that has the fuel filter on it) goes to the lower fuel line location on your wt-668 carb

the return line goes from teh location on carb next to fuel bulb to teh return side of tank which is teh side that does NOT have teh fuel filter on it.

hope this helps everyone and this works for the 668 carb but i am sure it works for other walbro carbs as well.

yah pretty standard across the board pal. does yours have the black and yellow lines? if so you should include that to which line is which.

mine does, and i havent unhooked anything. my black line, goes to bulb connection, and yellow/clear line to underside connection.

now inside the tank, i dont know which is which, but mines run fine so i suspect its set right. loked at this pic shows the blackline has clunker pickup

so thats why they say pump it till you see fuel returning down yellow/clear line, you know its good then.

nope i have the fullforce hi-flow fuel kit (both of my lines are see through yellow tygon). anyway reason i posted this is to claryfy because i have seen othr online locations fail at listing the correct fuel tank to carb fle line locations, these wrong places to look include a scooter forum, a chainsaw forum, a trimmer forum, an edger topic on a lawn and garden forum, and an old topic on HBF which also INCORRECTLY id's the fuel line location.

correct. however there is always a chance the color coding is incorrect (even if purchased new the color coding could be incorrect) so it is best to just know which line on carb comes from tank and which one goes back top the tank, this will virtually eliminate the problem Wink.

depends on where ya mark it at, might be a spot where it wont get on it, maybe up by the bulb connection. i havent had any fuel getting anyplace on mine, YET, so i think it would work out,and if it does start to fade, just rehit it with marker.
