| yeah i thought i had an interested party but they decided not to make a trade said it sounds like it needs to much work (only thing it needs to run is a battery, charger and a 4 channel radio system however it would work with a 2 channel system but all of the functions wouldnt work). if it doesnt sell or i find a trade for baja parts soon it will sit on the shelf as a shelf queen for awhile because it will only go up in value as it becomes more collectible then those who passed will just be kicking themselves for not getting it as i have it listed now because as teh value goes up so will my price | |

| yeah unfortunately addign a radio system and a battery is to much work for some people . oh well, gonna be funny when i get a more current value and the price goes up on the tank, i will most likely get less lookers then but i am sure there will be a tamiya collector come along who wants it for a shelf queen and they pay CASH not trade, i just figured i need baja parts so i would look at trading for somethign i could use or want but it doesnt seem like peeps want somethign unless they can get it for nothign LOL | |

yeah i have it on a few sites like that but unfortunately alot of the interest on those types of forums is from overseas parties. i did get a shipping quot for one guy and the cost of shipping with insurance for him was 225.00 needless to say he wanted me to cover4 shipping and i said no. the tamiya, vintage tamiya, and rc ank forums have people willing to buy but most seem to be out of the country and or wanting to get it for nothing. looks like i may end up shelving it at this point because i have not had any of what i would call serious interest only gtting lowballers, and peeps trying to rip me off value wise in a trade

| that sucks dude. part of my stuff came in today, the decals for general lee and the life batt and charger. and that pic glue, that might come in handy later on. if i get another bod off woodster i might do a SW theme body, that pic for ANH poster pic would look cool on the hood. like the one fanboys had on the side of the van. | |

| well i do have some ideas of what to do with the funds if the tank does sell but i doubt it will and if it doesnt its no big deal as it is a really nice piece of rc history to have on the shelf | |

unfortunatley i still have it everyone interested in it are to freaking cheap, one guy expected me to take 250.00 shipped to canada even after i posted completed ebay listigns showing i was asking a reasonable amount. he then showed me some adds where they were selling for 250.00 shipped but they were all local to him in cnada and didnt have the added cost of international shipping

| I went with flm extended arms instead of the axle extenders. I personally have some reservations about extending the axle itself making it more prone to getting bent and wobbly especially with my hpi lemon ( which has been sitting for almost a year now due to last time I took it out to try and play with it I got about 10 miutes on smooth open ground before another stock part failed).than just extending the arms for the extra width. course now I have to rebuild my shocks again and replace the umbrella seals cause they are now leaking from sitting LOL. | |
